2010 " I LOVE ME " Women Health Conference @ New

Themed ‘Addressing Modern Women’s Health Concerns’, the public health conference is organised by the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM) and managed by A Working Title Events (AWT) with full support from the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.

Held in conjunction with International Women’s Day, the objective of the one day conference is to address and educate women from all walks of life on the key health concerns encountered by today’s modern women. Women from Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding areas are welcomed to obtain clear unbiased advice and guidance regarding their health from qualified health professionals at no cost. The society aims to attract 400 participants aged between 18 – 60 years of age to attend the event.

Eight key medical topics that will be focused during the events are as follow:

● Oncology (breast, cervical and colon cancer)
● Cardiology & Stress (stress management, heart attacks & cholesterol)
● Menopause (osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy, supplements)
● Contraception (the Pill, IUCD, implants)
● Urinary Tract Infections (Infections/UTI, overactive bladder, incontinence)
● Period Problems (heavy, painful and no periods)
● Teenage Issues (hormonal issues, acne, self-esteem, vaccines: hepatitis, chicken pox, H1N1, rubella)
● Aesthetics (liposuction, breast implants, laser therapy, Botox)

The conference will also feature:
