Since its inception, Wisma Kebudayaan SGM is hosting a ceramic and porcelain exhibition for the first time. This exhibition will provide a platform for us to admire and appreciate high quality ceramic and porcelain artworks. The art of ceramic and porcelain in China has a long-standing history and reputation for top quality. It is a symbol of a few thousands years of Chinese civilisation, outstanding Chinese culture and the crystallisation of wisdom, in pursuit of the beautiful life of the people. Participating artists from world famous Jing De Zhen in China consist of masters of ceramic and porcelain, namely Prof. Luo Xue Zheng, Feng Shu Wen, Li Jia Zheng, Chen Yun Kai, Wang Shu Yuan and Yu Xuan, whereas Malaysian artist will be represented by Dr. Cheah Thien Soong. About 80 pieces of exhibits including porcelain panels and porcelain vases will be showcased during this exhibition. All are welcome to visit and view these exquisite art exhibits to expand our knowledge in understanding and appreciating the essence of Chinese culture.
