A comedy by Claude Zidi, Astérix et Obélix contre César (Asterix and Obelix Take on Caesar – 1999), With Christian Clavier and Gérard Depardieu. The well-known little village from the Astérix and Obélix-comic books is in trouble: It is the last place not controlled by Rome. When Tax collector Claudius Incorruptus does not get his money from the villagers, Julius Caesar himself visits the place to understand their resistance.
The film is in French (no subtitles).
