EPL Masters Football Cup returns to Malaysia after the outstanding success of last year’s tournament. Liverpool, Manchester United and the EPL All Stars team return alongside new boys Sheffield United, in the 2009 edition of the EPL Masters Football Malaysia Cup, which will feature ex-players of the likes of Dwight Yorke, Andrew Cole, Brian Deane, Ray Parlour, Andrei Kanchelskis, John Barnes, David Matteo, Jason McAteer and Bryan Robson.

There will be a free Football carnival outside the stadium starting at 14:00 featuring all your favourite games, stalls, entertainment and plenty of food and drink!

Masters Football originated in the UK, and has been going strong for ten years now. The competition has evolved over time, with more and younger players now representing the big teams, such as Andrew Cole, Lee Sharpe and Gianfranco Zola. Outside the UK, EPL Masters Football has had successful tours of Canada, Germany, Spain, UAE and last year EPL Masters Football came to Malaysia for the first time. The EPL Masters Football Malaysia Cup 2008 represented the first of a series of challenge events that will extend the Masters Football brand across the globe, with the competition returning to Malaysia again this November!
