HANDS 2: RHAPSODRUMS @ The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac), Jalan Strachan, Off Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpurposted by 671123

The time has come for HANDS 2 to come out on their own! Formed in 2005, the six members themselves have graduated from their respective colleges this year, and are free to hone in their creative skills – not only in drumming! What props to use in this new concert? Designing the set, their costumes – all that is needed in putting up a new concert. It is an exciting time for the HANDS 2!
Four new pieces will be showcased including one by guest choreographer, Judimar Hernandez. Therefore, there will be dance, movement… and it will not just be a drumming concert.
Always mindful of our wonderful multi-cultural Malaysian heritage, there will be Gamelan; a new twist to a traditional Chinese (Hokkien) tune; as well as a piece led by Jimmy Ch’ng, one of the original members of HANDS. Friends who are joining in include Susan Sarah John, Aluba Khan and more – come for the concert and be enthralled!
