Ramli Ibrahim, Malaysia’s premier dance artist and director of Sutra Dance Theatre, and photographer Paul Heath will present a photographic exhibition in Kuala Lumpur following a world tour that culminated in a performance at New York’s Carnegie Hall.
The exhibition, “Images of a Tuscan Odissi”, features photographs by Paul Heath of Sutra’s tour in Florence and the medieval Tuscan villages of Trequanda and San Giovanni D’Asso. The images of Sutra’s Odissi dance performances in Tuscany are some of the most evocative of its “Spellbound World Tour 2008”.
