Images of Buddhism is an exhibitions of B/W Photographs of Buddhist monuments and ruins in Sukhothai and Ayuthaya, Thailand by Eric Perisand Victor Chin.
Sukhothai (Raising of happiness) was Thailand’s first capital and was a flourishing city in the 13th and 14th centuries. Ayuthaya was the second capital of Thailand after Sukhothai. It was the capital for 400 years (1350 to 1767) and in its heyday it was the Thai kingdom’s true apex, ruling over present day Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
