Lobo Live In Malaysia 2010 @ Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, Pahangposted by 671123

If you remember the 70’s, you’ll definitely remember Lobo. This American singer-songwriter has carved a name for himself as one of the foremost defining musical artists of his era. With his signature style and folksy country tunes, he has won die-hard fans the world over and established a cult following throughout Asia.
Born Roland Kent Lavoie in Tallahassee, Florida, this vocal powerhouse began his singing career in 1961 as a member of the band ‘The Rumours’. He then moved on to join other bands and eventually debuted as a solo act a decade later. It was around this time that he started calling himself Lobo (which means ‘wolf’ in Spanish) – and it was with this sobriquet that he would achieve fame and distinction. His first major record under his new name sold over one million copies. The rest was, as they say, history.
Lobo was previously in the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting back in 2006 for a truly unforgettable sold-out concert. And now, he is readying his guitar to once again serenade you with his vast repertoire of catchy hit songs such as “Me And You And A Dog Named Boo”, “I’d Love You To Want Me”, “The End Of The world” and “Don’t Expect Me To Be Your Friend” to name a few
