This concert series is the 1st for Faculty of Music UiTM to promote and nurture new composition works by students and other young composers in Malaysia. It is also to nurture student performers to perform composer new works. This will encourage new works by composers and will add and broaden the music cultural scene.
It is to reflect the diversity of talent and musical style of Malaysian composers and to provide and open a platform for these new works to be performed. It gives an alternative of other composer’s artistic expression to the usual popular music scene in Malaysia. This is also a unique opportunity to promote contemporary young student composers to our local audience.
