Mitsuo Nonami - Friendship in Concert @ The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac), Jalan Strachan, Off Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur

Nonami is no stranger to Malaysia’s tight community of musicians. This renowned band clinician is synonymous with the development of the high school band movement. For the past 35 years, he has traveled all over Malaysia to train school bands.

Well, it’s time for these musicians to give back to their mentor. Friendship in Concert is a celebration of this amazing gentleman’s work. It will feature some of Nonami’s compositions including the award-winning Prelude To Return along with For Wonderful Friendship, My Love and Cha Cha Flamenco. The tribute concert will also feature his arrangements of classics such as Love is a Many Splendoured Thing and Rasa Sayang.
