MUMMENSCHANZ (meaning masquerade) has thrilled audiences around the world with a spectacular and revolutionary non-verbal theatrical style. They turn everyday objects and materials into abstract forms, simple costumes and expressive masks, and engage the audience with a wordless dialogue.
The stories and episodes filled with humour and imagination deal with human relationships which can be understood by anyone around the world, across any linguistic and cultural boundaries.
The show is entitled 3×11 and is a retrospective of the company’s greatest and most iconic works. Inanimate objects come to life, each with a personality and eccentricity of humans. In turn, humanoid characters take on the appearance of inanimate objects. The resulting role reversals create the most marvelous theatrical experiences with hilarious and ingenius outcomes
