For the first time in Malaysian history, Malaysia’s premier Direct to Home satellite multi-channel TV operator, Astro and the country’s top Chinese radio station, MY FM are joining forces to present to you the MY Astro Music Awards.

This Music Award brings the best of the music industry to the people through the power of TV and radio. The MY Astro Chart show is broadcasted via ASTRO AEC (Channel 301) every Saturday at 7pm and also on air over MYFM at 10am, starting from 28 January 2009 onwards. The chart will feature 20 of the latest and most popular Chinese songs from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Thailand.

36 awards will be given out during the Awards Presentation, inclusive of “The Most Popular Male Singer”, “The Most Popular Female Singer”, ‘The Best Album” among many others
