Niang Jia (娘家) is a popular Taiwanese Hokkien-dialect drama series that portrays the trials and tribulations of a complicated Chinese extended household. It was a hit among viewers who related to its honest and realistic depiction of the real-life struggles faced by such large Chinese families.
In Malaysia, this drama is aired on Astro Hua Hee Dai (Channel 333) which showcases a majority of general entertainment programs in the Hokkien dialect. This is of special note as it deviates from the typical shows and serials (which are usually in Mandarin or the Cantonese-dialect).
Now, making a special appearance live on stage just for your entertainment, are the stars of Niang Jia – including the bubbly Fang Xin (方馨), the dashing Fu Zi Chun (傅子纯), the elegant Gao Xin Xin (高欣欣), the energetic He Hao Jie (何豪杰), the handsome Lee Xin Wen (李兴文) and last but not least, the pretty Su Yan Pei (苏晏霈)!
