The Hong Kong Philharmonic’s Associate Conductor, Perry So, won the Prokofiev International Conducting Competition in 2008 and his performance of Prokofiev’s Fifth Symphony was one of the highlight’s of last year’s HKPO season. Hear him inspire the MPO to even greater heights in this all-Russian programme which includes the greatest of all Russian violin concertos played by the dazzling new violin sensation from Ukraine, Valeriy Sokolov.
