Classical pianist Oh Yann Shie will be performing a selection of renowned works which includes Schumann’s Carnaval Op. 9, Listz’s B Minor Sonata and Balakirev’s Islamey
Oh made her debut at the age of 13 with the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Orchestra playing the Grieg Piano Concerto. She is the first Malaysian to graduate from the prestigious Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire and holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance. She won a prize at the 2008 Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Paris and performed in piano festivals in Oxford, UK, and Nice, France.
