Zhao Jing was a student of the affiliated high school of China Central Conservatory of Music in 1988. In the year 1994, she entered Xi’an Conservatory of Music as a recommended student and studied under Professor Zhang Di Hua. She also studied Zhong Ruan under the tutelage of Associate Professor Xu Yang, and became a lecturer in the school in 1998. She received her masters degree under the tutelage of Professor Zhang Di Hua in 2004. She has published papers including “Aesthetics in Pipa Performance”, “The graphic book of positions in Pipa” and has also won several provincial awards. In 2008, she received First Prize Award in teaching from Xi’an Conservatory of Music.

Vivo Experimental Orchestra’s motto is to “Play music of life that touches your heart“. We believe that the attitude of sharing is the important key to create a healthy learning environment. Thus, they aim not only to create, but also to have the courage for inner change on attitude in order to create an open space. In Vivo Experimental Orchestra, the principal of recruiting and also educating musicians is focused on the learning attitude than their skills on the instruments. The same thing applies to us playing in an ensemble, we believe in harmony and trust among each other, and we strive to produce only music that is alive and touches audiences.
