RED CARNIVAL @ Sungei Wang Plaza, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpurposted by d_luaz

PT Foundation has been running Red Carnival at Sungei Wang Plaza on World AIDS Day since 2005 and each year has succeeded in having bigger and better events. Among the success include:
* 40,000 pieces of HIV information pieces distributed
* 40,000 red ribbons distributed
* 400 volunteers educated on HIV/AIDS
* 80 performers participate at Red Carnival including Harith Iskandar, Ida Nerina, Atilia, Azza and Yasmin Yusuff
* 20 community groups take part in our community events
This year, Red Carnival will be held again on the 28th and 29th November 2009 at the Fiesta Street of Sungei Wang Plaza. . From 7pm to 9pm on 28th November 2009, there will be a special Street Party Performances and Appearances featuring various celebrities. Between 3pm and 6pm on both days, there will be load of exciting community performances like choirs, bands, celebrities and radio deejays appearances and many more. In addition, the PT Foundation volunteers will be walking around to provide HIV information and practical exercises for everyone to learn more about HIV and the risks we all face from the pandemic.
