The 3 Hard Tenors World Tour Concert Live in Malaysia 2011 @ Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, Pahang

“The 3 Tenors” is a name given to the famous Spanish singers Plácido Domingo and José Carreras and the Italian singer Luciano Pavarotti who sang in concert under this banner during the 90s.

Modified from its original name, the “3 Hard Tenors” will see Jacky Wu, Kang Kang and Xiao Zhong spoof and make an imitation out of the original 3 Tenors in a completely entertaining and hilarious concert fashioned after a Taiwanese-style variety show.

In Mandarin, the word “Male” (男) shares the same pronunciation as ‘hard’ (难) i.e. difficult. Audiences will be entertained and greatly amused as the trio tries ‘very hard’ and still ‘cannot really make it’ as the real deal. The trio is geared up to stir laughter on the night belting out popular hits which integrate funny lyrics and video clips. This creatively choreographed comedy concert will be fun-filled with singing, dancing and laughter.

This widely appraised “3 Hard Tenors World Tour” has toured Shanghai and Singapore, recorded remarkable turnouts. Xiao Zhong will also perform some lame but funny magic tricks which recently gained him the nick name as comical “Mr. Magic” in Taiwan.
