The Comedy Club KL is back to bring you the biggest laughs of the 2012! After a 6 months break, The Comedy Club KL is ready to bring the funniest and most vibrant comedians from around the world. This year, The Comedy Club Asia circuit has grown to include Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Jakarta and the latest addition Phnom Penh.

Get the funniest jokes, bits and bangs from comedians from all over the world as they deliver their best comedy material. The Comedy Club KL offers seasoned international stand-up performers the platform to test their wits with the audience of Kuala Lumpur and Asia.

Phil Nichol (CAN)

Phil Nichol is a truly unique performer. An acclaimed actor, award winning comedian, producer, presenter, writer and musician there is no end to his talent.
Phil is an energetic and exciting performer with an unquenchable thirst to break boundaries and innovate with his work. His skill as an improviser whether it be musical, comedy or straight is unparallel. With a surreal edge to some of his mischievous ranting Nichol always brings something new to the stage, his keen sense of fun and eye for the shocking and absurd has cemented his position as one of the best comedians on the circuit today. Jimmy McGhie (UK)

A highly regarded young stand-up and comic performer, Jimmy performs on the UK and international comedy circuit to great acclaim. He is also a highly sought after TV warm-up, working for Channel 4’s Deal or No Deal, ITV’s Loose Women, BBC Three’s Two Pints and Coming of Age and Channel 5’s The Justin Lee Collins Show.

Steve Northcott (CAN)

Steve is a comedian, musician and documentarian who uses all three media in order to tell his version of the truth. Through music, storytelling and sarcasm-fueled wry observations, Steve is a mainstay on the Malaysian comedy stage and has performed throughout South East Asia and Canada. Influenced by the likes of Lenny Bruce and Bill Hicks, Steve enjoys taking his audience on a journey of opinion, self-deprecation and the ridiculous.

Steve is an active writer and host/producer of his own conceived travel series, On The Beat and Path which allows him to travel the globe in search of our planet’s musical pulse.
