Elisa Chan and Maria Cordero, better known as Fat Mama (肥媽), have a solid fan base here in Malaysia. Both are equally talented when it comes to showmanship and their unique vocals.
Elisa joined a band, the New Topnotes, when she was 16-years-old and burst into stardom in the 80s. Since then, she has remained active in the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, Maria started out with a singing career and then proceeded to add acting to her portfolio. She also ventured into the culinary world, hosting her own cooking show – Maria’s Kitchen.
