Randy is no stranger to Malaysia. He has fondly referred Malaysia as his second home where his first visit included performances at Sonny Yew’s River Bank in 1987. He has also recorded and performed with Zainal Abidin and Sheila Majid. His last visit was working with the P.Ramlee musical production in KL and Singapore.

An exceptionally talented musician, his adaptation of Southeast Asian and Indian rhythmic concepts has pushed boundaries and influenced developments in the contemporary music world. His unique sound has blended into his inventive concepts and influences whether playing clean-toned lines or mimicking keyboards, saxophone, or steel drums on his guitar synthesizer, has attracted a great deal of attention and bridged a following between fusion, blues and jazz music fans around the world.
